HP Solution Center Printer communication problems, Port 427

I installed HP Solution Center in the installation process it finds my printer on the network.  I can call up the pritner using internet explore and typing in the printer's IP address, I can print, but HP solution center can "communicate" I get the following error message:

"Your computer is unable to communicate with your printer at 192.168.1.102. This may be caused by firewall software. If you are using firewall software, verify that UDP port 427 is unblocked for both inbound and outbound traffic.

The software cannot communicate with your printer at IP address 192.168.1.102. This may be caused by many factors; the most common is firewall software."

How do I open port 427 or is there another solution?

Answer
Answer

I had the same problem. I went to add devices and added the HP Officejet 6500 and it started printing. For some reason the computer would not communicate with the printer until it was added. hope this works for you.
