Q: How to make Lego digital blue camera compatable with windows 7 This thread is locked from future replies

I bought a Lego digital blue camera and then I bought a new computer with windows 7 and I could not connect the camera to the computer because the camera is not windows 7 compatable. Is there any way to solve this problem

Answer

A:

Well it doesn't say it's compatible with ANY operating systems, http://digiblue.com/products/lego/digital_cameras/LG10002.html#computer so you may want to contact Digital Blue (who actually make the camera) and ask if they propose to release drivers for Vista/Windows 7.

There is a phone number in their Quick Guide:

888-800-0502 Monday-Friday 9am-6pm CST.

Or you can fill in the contact form at: http://digiblue.com/products/lego/digital_cameras/LG10002.html#csup

I take it their instructions aren't working:

DOWNLOADING PHOTOS

Because your LEGO camera is a USB mass storage device, your computer will recognize the camera as an external hard drive.

TO DOWNLOAD YOUR PHOTOS:

1.

2.

3.

4.

5.

You can copy your photos from this folder or use another program to download the photos to a selected folder on your hard drive.
Double-click on the LEGO camera, which will be listed as a removable disk in the drive list. Choose the folder labeled DCIM and then choose the folder labeled 100Image. Your photos will be located in this folder on your camera.
You will see a list of drives connected to your computer, including the hard drive, CD drives and other mass storage devices.
Go to the Start menu and double-click on My Computer.
Connect the camera to your computer with the provided USB cable.

Did this solve your problem?

Sorry this didn't help.
