Question

Q: find driver for Nomad Jukebox Zen Xtra

I bought  a used  Nomad Jukebox Zen Xtra Creative DAP HD0011 for which I need software. When I plug in to my windows7 computer it is unable to find the driver. Can anyone help with this as I need to reload the music files?

Answer

A:

Here are all the drivers and software associated with it:

http://support.creative.com/Products/ProductDetails.aspx?catID=948&subCatID=958&prodID=9288&prodName=ZEN Xtra&subCatName=MP3 Players&CatName=Entertainment+Devices+%2f+MP3+Players&VARSET=prodfaq:PRODFAQ_9288,VARSET=CategoryID:948

Or this link if the other truncates itself too badly:  http://preview.tinyurl.com/cjxgobs

Down at the bottom of the page is a box titled Manual Selection. Under the second dropdown, pick Windows Vista (whatever bit your Win7 is) and click on Submit. This will show all the Vista drivers. You might try installing them; if they don't install natively, try Compatibility Mode.

Expand each description first and read them to see if you think they'll work for you. I had a Zen Touch, and never got the drivers to work for it in Win7, but it was recognized in Explorer and I could just drag the songs over to the folder on it that the songs were stored (It has since bit the dust, so I can't name for sure the folder that held them).
Good luck with it. I have a feeling you'll need it.
