Error code 0001, 0002 on trying to install Canon Pixma MX-455

Hi
Perhaps someone can help me with a Error code 0001, 0002  problem  I installed a Canon Pixma MX455 printer to my Windows 8 PC by LAN network and all is well. Then I tried to install it to my wife's Windows 7 PC using the Canon CD but gor the error message above. I contacted Canon who advised uninstalling old drivers and installing using this link

I used GhostBuster to uninstall old drivers and tried the link but got the same error code message. I contacted Canon again , but they siad it must be a Microsoft error and to contact you. I should add that the device shows up on my wife's PC as a device but 'Not configured correctly'
Any help you can give? I have seen the messages on a similar thread, but they don't help

I understand that the problems are while using the printer with the Windows 7 PC. Please follow the below steps to fix the issue.
 
Method 1:

Check in device manager if the Canon Pixma MX-455 drivers are listed, also see if there is any exclaimation mark on it.

a) Go to Control panel.

b) Then open Device Manager.

c) Under the Print queue see if you you find the Cannon Drivers.

d) Also check if you hav any yellow Exclamation over the Cannon Printer Drivers. 

 
Method 2:
 
Step 1:
First Un-install Canon Pixma MX-455 drivers from device manager folow these steps mentioned :

a) Go to Control panel.

b) Then open Device Manager.

c) Under the Print queue see if you you find the Cannon Drivers.

d) Right- click on the Cannon Drivers and click Uninstall.

 
Step 2:

Method 3:
If still the issue persist then try to run printer troubelshooter:
