Driver installation for Xirlink Digital Video Camara same as IBM PC Camera

I have a HP Pavillion Slimline 5610 with Windows 7. I installed the driver, but the device is not recogized. I get an error message that the camera is not installed.

Hi hfalster,

 

1.    Where do you get the error message?

2.    Which application are you using to access video camera?

3.    Have you installed the latest drivers for the camera for Windows 7?

 

 

First check if the camera is detected in device manager and check its status.

 

a)   Open Device Manager by clicking the Start button

b)   Click Control Panel, click  System and Security, and then, under System, click  Device Manager.‌ If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
