Canon Scanner Incompatable with Windows 7, 64 bit

I have a Canon Canoscan LIDE 30 scanner that I dearly LOVE, and it does not have any driver listed that is compatible with Windows 7, either in 32 or 64 bit. WHAT DO I DO???  I don't want to throw it away or give it away!  Will I have to keep my old laptop to be able to use it with Windows XP???

Vuescan works a treat with the Lide 30.  I have one of those too, and it is the ONLY way to get it to work..
