Canon EOS 350D camera don´t connect to Windows 7 Professional

Despite of updating the Canon ZoomBrowser Ex to latest version clear for W7/64 bit the program dont find the camera. I guess I need a new USB driver for the camera which is not available on Canon homepage. I can take out the memorycard though and download the files but this is not the way it should work. Any tip where to find a driver?

Canon EOS 350d don't need driver for windows 7. Believe it or not. You have to change the communication parameter from "PC" to "print/PTP". Then, windows 7 recognises the camera as a camera, andyou can transfer pictures. How logical is that?
