Can I install a XP printer driver in XP Mode? If so, can I use it from Win 7?

In my home network I have a Minolta QMS Magicolor 2200 printer. A 64-bit printer driver for this printer is not available. I have a Dell computer with Win 7 Pro, and I have installed Windows XP Mode. Installing the XP printer driver in Win 7 will damage the computer. Is it possible to install the XP driver in XP Mode without damaging the computer? If this is possible, is it possible to use this printer driver from Win 7?

You should be able to install the printer in XP mode, if XP can connect to the device via a serial or USB port.  A parallel port might work as well but I've never tried one myself so no way for me to say for sure.  But no, Windows 7 won't be able to use the printer because you still need Windows 7 drivers to print to the printer even if it's shared over the network from the VM.
