Hi manishmeena,

This error can occur if the DVD drive is not recognized as a recordable device. This error can also occur if the device driver has been corrupted. To resolve this issue, follow these steps.

Check the device manager to see whether there is an issue with the driver.

Step 1: Use Windows inbuilt driver

If the device manager indicates there is an issue with the device, you may be able to resolve the issue by uninstalling and then reinstalling it.

To do this, follow these steps:

a.    Click Start, type “devmgmt.msc” without the quotes and press Enter.

b.    Right-Click the drive that uses the driver that you want to remove.

c.    Click Uninstall.
When you are prompted to confirm the removal, click OK.

d.    On the Action menu, click Scan for hardware changes.

Step 2: Use the driver from manufacturer.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, contact the device manufacturer to find out whether there is an updated driver for the device.
