Edited 14 November 2017: I am still using my Belkin adapter. It works great. It even works under Windows10! The drivers are still available from MCT (http://www.mct.com.tw). You will have to search for the U232-P9 drivers. I have also used drivers from Staples for this adapter. Worked very well. If you want to read the discussion that prompted my search, paste this link into your browser: http://www.clearchain.com/blog/posts/how-to-use-a-belkin-f5u409f5u409-cu-usb-to-pda-serial-converter-in-visawindows-7-64bit-mac-osx-10. As a side note, this adapter has also worked well for me using several VMs. I have used this adapter (with the appropriate drivers, of course) with XP, 7-32, 7-64, and 10 VMs. I used VMWare (tm) players. I have not tried using it with VirtualBox (tm) players, but I cannot imagine it not working.
Edited 5 April 2012: The original link I posted is no longer valid. However, as of this date you can still visit the MCT site (http://www.mct-us.com) and search for U232-P9. You will be able to find the driver file with no problem. Alternatively, Timothy
D. Bennett provided an active link below. So it should be as easy as a single click! Additionally, I can report that this driver and hardware work well under Windows 7 Professional 64-bit OS. For a short time I also had to install and use an XP VM under Windows
7 (for other reasons). The drive and hardware worked well under this OS, also.
Original Post: Driver for this device was written by MCT and can be found here: http://www.mct-us.com/driver.html. Download the U232-P9 driver for Windows. I have successfully used this device driver under the Windows 7/32-bit OS. I am preparing to test it
under the Windows 7/64-bit OS.
