Driver missing in "Device manager" after upgrading from Vista to Win 7

I have an unknown device in the device manager.

"The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)There is no driver selected for the device information set or element. To find a driver for this device, click Update Driver."

Hardware id is "ACPI\HPQ0006"

I checked the manufacturez website and there are no drivers available for windows 7. Its a laptop core 2 duo with 2 GB RAM. Bios is upto date. Tried pcidatabase.com..... but the hardware id does not give any information...
