I have a PC running Windows 7 Professional and Windows Vista Ultimate with a dual boot setup. I have two screens pluged into an Nvidia GTS 8800 video card. The first screen is an HP 22" lcd which is plugged directly into one of the two DVI outputs on
the video card. The second screen is a Sharp 52", 1080p HDTV which is plugged into the second DVI port on the video card via an HDMI cable plugged into a HDMI to DVI adapter.
Both monitors work perfectly when I boot to Windows Vista but when I boot to Windows 7 the 52" screen is not recognized at all. If I switch the cords plugged into the video card the 52" will work and the 22" will not be detected.

If you are still unable to get the secondary monitor detected, I would suggest you to access the display card manufacturer’s website and download the latest drivers for Windows 7 and install it and check if it helps you fix the issue.
You may access the link below and try to find and download the drivers for the display card or you may run the option 2 to automatically find the drivers for Nvidia products.
