My CD/DVD drive is not responding whenever I attempt to play some CDs I bought recently. I have Windows 7 Home Premium and this is basically a brand new laptop (Packard Bell Easynote TJ74).
When I have attempted to view the error details of Windows Media Player, it will not load any error message box. I have attempted with several CDs, constantly getting the same result.
I have also attempted to enter the D Drive through My Computer, resulting in the following message:
Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. You may not have appropriate permissions to access the item
There is only one account on this computer, and that is my own.
