system wont detect cds

After performing a clean install of windows 7 pro my computer wont detect music cds. It will play movies with its corresponding audio. but it wont play regular music cds originals, burned or from any file extension of music cds it wont just detect that the cd is loaded in the cd rom tray.

I allready tried  windows trouble shouting and nothing. checked file extension association and everything appears to be in order. I also ran DRM. Also perform CD,DVD region check. Lastly i also perform a system check from the windows command prompt and found nothing either.

Anybody have any other ideas?

Hi Mario E,

1) Which CD burning software are you using to burn CD?

This problem occurs because of an error in the Mcicda.dll file.

I would suggest you to uninstall any CD burning software which is installed on the computer and check if issue persists.
