How do I improve my Windows 7 for gaming?

Ok so im starting to get into PC gaming i know windows 7 home preminum is not exactly nuilt for gaming but it is all i got and im also not a computer wiz so i dont know how to improve it also i dont understand what half of the things im reading i looked at my dxdiag diagnostics and i dont know what half of it means so any help with improving gaming would be very appreciated. Also if needed i can post my dxdiag results. well i probably gave u more than u needed on the dxdiag but if im missing anything let me know and as for the type of games well i want to play games like civilization and rts games mostly but they real choppy and crash

Low settings only.

You have a low spec machine. A laptop with - Dual core @ 2.1GHz and Intel HD integrated graphics with only 32MB dedicated memory.
This chip is OK for video but is not  suitable for most games.

I believe your laptop uses the 4500MHD below - There are a number of game benchmarks down
at the end of the review.

You will note that even with low settings the Intel HD integrated graphics will not run many games
(except those with basic graphics). No benefit from system settings as the graphics are so weak
that optimising will not help.
