Windows Explorer's Address Bar dropdown list of previous folders is always blank

I recently bought a new computer and finished installing Windows 7.  After using it for a couple of days, I've noticed that the drop down menu for any folder is missing.

Here is a picture of my current situation:

Answer

Go to your control panel and click on Indexing options, on the top right click on View by, small icons for a detailed list,

Once it opens,

Click on Advanced near the bottom,

Then click on Rebuild.

The Previous Locations down arrow is not a detailed source of every location for some reason, Not for me either ?

The most detailed place is under the Favorites list of Recent places or Recently changed,

And if it's not working rebuild your index,

Then see if this finds anything,
