Answer
Windows 7 thinks that your computer has two monitors and has opened the Explorer window on the second one.

To move the window to the main monitor:

1. Move the mouse cursor to the Explorer (folder) icon near the Start button.
2. Move the cursor up to the preview of the Explorer window and right-click.
3. Click Move .
4. Press and hold the left arrow key until the window moves to where you want it to be.
5. Press Enter .

If your computer only has one monitor, disable the second one:

1. Go to Control Panel > Display .
2. Click Adjust Resolution .
3. Click the second monitor.
4. In the Multiple displays menu, select Disconnect this display .
