Note: If any bad sectors are found while running the check disk utility and if
attempt recovery of bad sectors is checked while checking the drive for errors, the data in the bad sector may be lost while attempting to recover bad sectors.
You may also try creating a new user account and check if the issue recurs in the newly created account.
If in the new user account, the issue does not persist; it indicates that your old user account could have gone corrupt.
