My image thumbnails are all the orange flower. How can I get my original image display.

The thumbnails of my images, photos, screen shots, etc. all appear as the "orange flower" icon, in files and on the desktop. How can I get this to change back to show my original photos, images, screeen shots, etc. They all open with Windows Live Photo Gallery, but previously the thumbnail of the actual image was displayed. Also all my folders appear as open, empty folders, even though they open showing the usual finles.  Don't know if this is connected, but both changes started at the same time.

Answer

Hi

Open Windows Explorer.

On the Toolbar, select Organize / Folder and Search options.

Click the View Tab.

Remove the check mark from the Always use icons, never thumbnails option.

Click Apply / OK.

Let us know the results.
