can't view album art in windows explorer in thumbnail view_Running on Windows 7,and Display File Icon on thumbnail is enabled in Folder and search options.

I can view my album art while playing the song on WMP 12 but not while viewing the file in the windows explorer in thumbnail view

this link is an example where the album art is seen in WMP 12 and not in thumbnail view in explorer..the album art was visible before but suddenly one day i don't see them...i really appreciate the help guys but i have already read a few posts but reply only if u have a solution for it...coz in all the posts the replies were the same...even though the were not relevant

Hi,

I would suggest you to follow these steps and check if it helps.

Method 1:

a.      Open Windows explorer, go to folder options.

b.      Click on view, and check if “Always show icons, never thumbnails” is selected.

c.      If yes, then uncheck it and see if it helps.

Method 2:

Follow these steps and check if it helps:

a.      Open the Start Menu.

b.      Right-Click on Computer and select Properties and a new window will open.

c.      Select Advanced System Settings on the left under Tasks.

d.      Click on Continue in the UAC prompt.

e.      Click on the advanced tab and select Settings... under the Performance area.

f.       Under Visual Effects you will see four options to choose from.

g.      Let Windows choose what's best for my computer usually works best for most users.

h.      Verify that Show thumbnails instead of icons are checked or you can select Adjust for best appearance and press OK.

i.        This may take some time to change.
