address book

I never used outlook address book on my old computer.  Instead I synchronized my very old Sony Clea program.  However it broke sometime ago but I continued to update and add addresses into my computer using that program.
Unfortunately, the program did not transfer into my new Windows 7 program and I need to create a whole new address book to work with.
Where do I find the address book on windows 7.  I no longer have outlook or outlook express.
I am not computer savvy and really need help with this.

Hi nathanson,

a. How did you install Windows 7 installed?

If you performed custom installation of Windows 7 then you have to re-install Microosft Office for Outlook.

Alternatively you can use Windows Live Mail as well. Visit the following link to download Windows Live Mail.

Windows Address Book isn't included in this version of Windows. To create contacts, you'll need another e‑mail or contacts program from Microsoft or another company.

You can still manage your contacts by installing a program from another company or by using a free solution from Windows Live.
