Good afternoon! We have reported 3 vulnerabilities in our environment related to the Curl and libcurl versions. Most machines have version 8.10.1.0 in the files located in the paths %windir%\System32\ and %windir%\SysWOW64\. To resolve the vulnerability, it is necessary to update the version to 8.12.0, but the latest update for Windows 10 and Windows 11 is updating to version 8.11.1. Is there a forecast for the release of an update for version 8.12? Below are the CVEs: CVE-2025-0725 - Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may cause Integer Overflow to Buffer Overflow. - https://cu

It was widely touted as one of the changes with 24H2, and the main reason I installed it, but I still don't have jump lists on pinned apps in the start menu. I have them everywhere else they should be, so is there an extra setting that needs changing to get this, or does it just not work like so much else in 24H2?

Specifically, I would like to:Automatically apply updates via a script.Incorporate a feature to pause updates on a set date.Ensure that the UI reflects the paused status of updates accurately.Could anyone provide suggestions on how to implement these functionalities effectively? Any help with the script, as well as integrating it with the UI for visibility, would be greatly appreciated!Thank you in advance for your support.

What is the best way to recover when Windows 10 crashes, may times after doing updates. The desktop looks fine as does the task bar; the mouse pointer is working, but not Windows. Doing Cntrl-Alt-Delete doesn't work.Out of frustration, I turn the power off, wait 10 seconds, turn it back on and reload Windows 10, then do a SFC scan to check on any bad files. If it finds any and fixes them, I'll do a restart. Is there a more effective way to get Windows 10 working when I experience this problem?ThanksKen977

Even Steam is starting to crash regularly. Fallout 4 barely loads without crashing. I'd give you a specific, but there seem to be dozens of issues. When I look up a fix, I'm given dozens of little tricks to make something functional..... And that isn't fixing issues. That is tricking a dying Operating System to function. Many of the specific issues are years old. Known. And remain unsolved. Games I had loaded a few months ago now have entirely new issues. I demand products to function. If the plan is to force purchases, it will not be with Microsoft under this strategy.

Did a clean reinstall yesterday (04.21.2025) after a motherboard replacement. Now my computer freezes for a few seconds, around 3-4 seconds, every time I start my computer. It happens in the log in screen where I input my passcode or when it loads into the desktop. It never fails to freeze every single time consistently. It never happens again until I either restart my computer or bootup after shutting down.System Info:Alienware m18 r2Windows 11 home x64 Version 10.0.26100 Build 26100 (windows update doesn't work atm. currently working with Microsoft to fix it)Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-14900HX, 220

I update my windows 11 last night, and it’s been on this same “Undoing changes made to your computer” and goes to a blue screen “Your device ran into a problem and needs to restart” I’ve done many solutions like using short cuts, turn my pc off for 20 seconds, unplugging my power cable, and trying to get to the start up repair or trouble shoot pages but it seems like it’s impossible since I can’t get to the trouble shoots nor reset my pc properly, can somebody please help? I’ve been stuck in this same loop and haven’t found anything to fix this. I haven’t installed any hardware to my pc, I’ve
