Hi arvipat,

1.    What type of internet connection are you using?

2.    Are looking for internet explorer or network connection shortcut?

Method 1

To create a desktop shortcut for your internet connection (Dialup connection)

a)   Open the  Network Connections folder. To do so, click Start, type  ncpa.cpl and press ENTER.

b)   Right-click on the dialup connection, and choose Create Shortcut. Click Yes when you see the following message:

Windows cannot create a shortcut here.
Do you want the shortcut to be placed on the desktop instead?

Method 2

Use the below option if you want access the network connections on Windows 7 PC

a)   Right click on an empty area on desktop, and click on  New  and  Shortcut.

b)   Type  ncpa.cpl into the location area, and click on the  Next button.

c)    Type  Network Connections for the name, and click on the Finish button.

d)   Right click on the new Network Connections shortcut on the Desktop and click on Properties.

e)   Click on the  Shortcut tab and then click on the  Change Icon button.

f)    Select the icon of your choice and click  OK

g)   Click on OK.
