Replace default Windows keyboard shortcut behavior CTRL+ALT+... to ALTGr+...

Original Title: How do I prevent CTRL+ALT+... keyboard shortcuts to be treated as ALTGR+... shortcuts?

Hi!

I'd like to disable default windows behavior which treats all CTRL+ALT+... combinations as ALTGR+... combinations since my keyboard contains ALTGR key and it's enough for me.

Hi xorax,

It is not possible to change the default Windows Keyboard shortcuts but you can assign shortcuts to open programs with the keys you want. Refer the below mentioned link for the same.

Create keyboard shortcuts to open programs

Also refer:

Keyboard shortcuts

However, if there are any keyboard properties that support this behavior, you may try checking for the same by referring to the manual or by visiting the keyboard manufacturer website.

I'm perfectly aware that there is a possibility to assign keyboard shortcut to open programs. But it has totally nothing to do with my problem. What I'm stuck with is the fact that some programs rely on shortcuts CTRL+ALT+... And these shortcuts conflict with ALTGR+... shortcuts. And here I wonder: I must be able to disable this mapping. Some registry hack maybe?

And by the way. You changed the title of my topic completely wrong. Seems like you don't understand what I am talking about.
