Protect Yourself From Tech Support Scams
Tech support scams are an industry-wide issue where scammers trick you into paying for unnecessary
technical support services. You can help protect yourself from scammers by verifying that the contact is a
Microsoft Agent or
Microsoft Employee and that the phone number is an
official
Microsoft global customer service number.
If this was a driver update for the installed video adapter, it may have changed the screen resolution.
Right click an empty spot on the Desktop and select a different resolution. Select a new resolution, click Apply/OK and check the results. You may need to try a couple of different resolutions to set it to fit your screen.
In the screen resolution settings the first number is width and the second number is height, measured in Pixels. (eg: 1024x768)
Hope this helps.
