I am trying to download my files from Carbonite. I have set my system as directed above but it still keeps going to sleep, preventing Me from getting my files from Carbonite.

Sommardahl,

Try these steps.

Step 1

Right-click on Desktop Screen- Select properties- Click on Screen Saver tab- Click on Power button- Change the power scheme option to "Home/Office Desk"- Click on OK to save and exit the window.

Step 2

Create a new power plan and check if it helps.

Step 3

Also check if you face the same issue in different user account or new administrator account. You may create a new user account on your computer and then check.

Create a new user account-

If you do not face the same issue in a new user account then you may refer the below link and use the steps provided to fix a corrupted user profile -

Hope it helps.

Regards,
Anil
