Question

Q: Aero windows peek and title preview not disappearing

I have following problem with windows 7:
I have Firefox opened. I hover mouse over task bar and window preview start displaying with window titles. I do not click at them, I click again into Firefox window.
Usually this results into latest taskbar application I hovered have its title displayed for around 5 seconds, then disappearing, and this application have its bar highlighted with main icon color (which is also not what I want).
But sometimes window previews from latest hovered window just do not disappear until I press some keyboard button in Firefox. This is quite annoying for me.
Is this how it supposed to work? I expect taskbar to stop any highlighting and hide any preview windows when I click into main application window.
I have latest drivers and fully updated system if that helps.

Hi,

Could you please answer these below questions?

a) Was it working perfectly earlier?
d) Did you do any recent changes on your computer?

Try to run the Aero troubleshooter and check if it helps.

If your computer is having problems running the Aero desktop experience, which includes effects such as transparency, try using the Aero troubleshooter to fix the problem. It checks for common compatibility issues with running Aero, such as your computer's color, theme, and power settings and your computer's video card.
Open the Aero troubleshooter by clicking the Start button, and then clicking Control Panel. In the search box, type Troubleshooter, click Troubleshooting, and then, under Appearance and Personalization, click Display Aero desktop effects. If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide.
