Windows 11 mutes headphone sound if an app is using the microphone

I have a similar problem like here: https://answers.microsoft.com/ru-ru/windows/forum/all/windows-10/98138a7a-b2f3-4dcb-be0f-83b55118e306

The essence of the problem: when you start any application using a microphone, the sound is muted and becomes distant.

But I've already taken the advice and set my default headphones to be the default communication, and also the playback device at the same time.

At the moment, nothing helps from what I find. What else can you try to solve the problem?

Hello!

I'm sorry for the delay. Are you using a Bluetooth connection for the microphone?

Hello again, Vladislav!

It would be important if you could provide the information of whether this has been happening only for a certain period of time or this is how it's been since you tried using the device and when this has been started.

The problem could be due to the Bluetooth driver. In that situation you could either update or revert to a previous version based on your options. Please let me know so I can advise you correctly.
