Thumbnail Preview on Folders are gone in windows 11. How do i get them back.

I have just used the advanced update options, and joined the insiders in the hope I get this update. I am now updated and got........half a folder thumbnail, why? just why! give us a full folder thumbnail! I have filled in the feedback to report this.

I moved back to Windows 10 earlier this year because of the lack of this. (3 systems.) There wasn't a single thing that caused me to move back but this was the final straw. The the regression on tried and true features that have been in Windows for almost a decade now is amazing, and not in a good way.

Upgrade to 22H2 to get folder thumbnails.

I suppose they had to think carefully with how much they could give back to the people. There's the economic crisis so you only got half! 😀

I really don't think Microsoft cares about what we want or what we think. It took them years to get Windows 10 to work properly. I have gone to Windows 11 on just one computer. While you can tell if there's something in the files now, there are so many other things I don't like about Windows 11. I've sent feedback for the right click going from words to pictures which I find annoying. I have to hover over the pictures to find what I want (cut, paste etc.) which actually takes more time. They have a new media player that can't seem to load my music to I still use the old media player from Windows XP. I wish Microsoft cared about what people want.
