Will Microsoft Works work in Windows 10 ? Yes!

Some say it can and others say it cannot.

For the record I'm in the camp that it works for me.

This past weekend we purchased a new desktop tower with Windows 10 for a family member to replace the older XP tower.  Using the MSWorks 9.0 disks I was able to install to out-of-box Windows 10 on the tower with no errors and no compatibility mode.

So now I have MSWorks 4.5 working under Windows 10 on a laptop and MSWorks 9.0 on a Windows 10 tower.  Both were loaded using the original MS Works CDs and the original installation codes.

Another for the record, I've never found a viable replacement (Open Office or otherwise) for using my existing MS Works files.

     I installed my quite old Works from the CD I've had for years!  Works wonderfully.  You can also go to the Windows Store and download it for FREE.

     So, I don't know what all you nay-sayers are talking about!  I'm not all that smart and have even worse luck!
