The issue you are facing with, is caused due to the corrupted files.

I suggest you to follow the below methods and check.

Method 1: Refer to the following article “Use the System File Checker tool to repair missing or corrupted system files” in the below link:

Resetting the store cache can resolve issues like this. follow the below steps to reset the store cache.

Method 2: Reset store.

1. Press Windows+ R key.

2. Type "wsreset.exe" and press Enter.

3. Check if it takes you to a store page which displays that the cache has been reset.

4. Now try to open the store app and check.

If still the issue persists, I suggest you to create a new user account and check.

Method 3: Create new User Account.

Follow the below link to create new user account.

Note: The steps for Windows 8/8.1 applies to Windows 10 Technical Preview.

Not even a "reset" so all settings and apps are removed, what gives

I'm having exactly the same issue since "upgrading" to Build 10162. None of the above suggestions help, and the suggestion to create a new account indicates that someone wasn't paying attention to the original request, as the problem is that the settings app- including account creation- doesn't open.

Any suggestions besides starting over w/a fresh install?

Nothing here is helping me.  I cannot download a game I paid 39.99 for and support has failed to help me.  I was passed around to 3 different people and then finally a disconnected number....  I want this fixed now or a refund.

Are you having the issue for ReCore as well?  I had Zero problems for Quantum Break.  However, with Recore I am greeted with this error.

Hi, which version of Windows10 are you running?  I have drives of each major update and for some reason the old TH1 and TH2 versions of windows pop up with that same error when I look for ReCore.  The latest Windows Redstone 14393.105- for some reason can see the page fine, but the older ones don't.

In order to fix this problem I had to manually update my computer to the newest build. This build currently is 14393.187. If your build version is not this the page will not load for the windows store. Also none of your apps will update unless you have the current build version.
