Windows Store Error 0x800704CF

The problem I am facing is that I cannot download any app from the store.
It shows error 0x800704CF, I use my campus LAN, everything else works but not this store.

This issue could have occurred due to corrupted system files.

Let us try the following steps, and check if it helps.

Method 1: Store app troubleshooter:

I suggest you to run the Windows Store apps troubleshooter and check if it helps.

1. Press Windows Key and click on Search bar.

2. Type Troubleshooting without the quotes and click on Troubleshooting.

3. Click on View all on the left side panel.

4. Double click on Windows Store Apps.

5. Click on Next and follow the steps.

If the issues still persist, refer to the below method.

Method 2: Disable Proxy Settings

Sometimes your proxy settings might be stopping the app from installing correctly.

I suggest you to check if proxy connection is turned on by following the steps

1. Press Windows + R keys to open run command.
2. Type inetcpl.cpl and press Enter.
3. Under the Connections tab click on LAN Settings.
4. Uncheck Use Proxy server option and click on OK.

Method 3: Check the Date & Time Zone is correct or not:

  1. Double-click on the current time on the bottom right hand corner of your screen.
  2. Then click Change date and time settings, then click the Change time zone button
  3. Select your time zone and tick Automatically adjust clock for daylight saving time and click OK.
  4. Click on Apply, and OK
