This app has been blocked due company policy windows 10 store

i have tried several possible fix to this issue. none of them worked.

i have installed the same ISO in a virtual machine and the store is working.

i even did a repair restore, preserving apps and data.

is there any solution to this? the windows apps already installed are working, but i can't donwload new ones and not buy.

I have the same issue. Updates seems to be working fine but I can't buy or download new apps or apps I already own because "the app is blocked by Company Policy." I am not in a company, this is my personal computer and not connected to domain. All apps have been affected by it. 

I have tried :

  • wsreset
  • windows store troubleshooter

no change. Still can't install apps.

Since the issue still persists, we recommend performing a System Restore to place your computer back to its working state. Refer to Restore from a system restore point section on this article for more information on how to perform the task.

Well, in the end there is no fix for this, at least not yet. If I do a system restore, or like i said on the second post, if i do a fresh install, as soon as the windows store update it blocks me, and the problem starts again.

So, thanks for your time, but i guess there is no solution unless the devs do something with the app itself.

The error I've been getting "This app has been blocked due to Company Policy" appears to have been resolved with update: KB4040724.

Blocked before the update, and solved as soon as the update was completed this morning.

That's good to hear mate. I have installed the update too, but no luck here.

The Store app has been updated 2 times since my problem started and so far no luck

My store is working again, the latest update ( 11709.1001.27.0) removed the message about policy and now is working.
