I am not able to purchase app in windows store showing error "Give it another try. Something went wrong"

Original title: Give it another try. Something went wrong.

Hello I have a store problem

I can get free apps, no problem, free apps download and install with no problem.

But I want to purchase an app that I trialled and I for the last 36 hours I have been getting;

Give it another try
Something went wrong.

I have tried all the solutions posted here:

and here:

The app I'm trying to purchase is KnowledgeBase Builder.  I'm wondering if it might have something to do with having downloaded it for the trial, though I have never bought any apps before.  I spoke to someone on chat about the issue earlier today but after a twenty minute chat and still getting the same issue they wanted to put me through to a MS technician and to be honest. For purchasing an app that costs less than $5, its not worth the stress for me having to go through all this stuff to get it.  With this experience I'm going to be reluctant to try purchasing again from the app store.

I've had documented this issue within a blog post Windows 10: Store error “Something went wrong”

BTW: Don't use the  PowerShell command

$manifest = (Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.WindowsStore).InstallLocation + '\AppxManifest.xml' ; Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register $manifest

in Windows 10 Version 1511 - it will kill all your apps.
