Connect my Minecraft account to my Microsoft account

I understand that you are looking into switching your Minecraft version that you have just purchased. Each version of Minecraft is sold separately and not interchangeable or swappable and if you are looking to change it the other way to go is to request for a refund and then once the request has been processed that is the time that you can go ahead and buy the correct version of Minecraft that you would like to play.

In requesting for a refund, it would best to reach out via chat as they can check this one for you. As much as I want to provide the refund right away and the best solution to this one but I do not have the capability to do it as I do not have access to your account and other information with regards to the purchase

- Go to the link above
- Type in refund and then after a reply type refund again
- Select No for every auto response until you reach the Talk to a person option and click on it
- Select Windows and Billing from the drop down menu and then sign in when prompted
- You can select the chat and a new window will pop-up and you will need to wait for a live chat agent to assist you. You can also select the option call me back as another preference for communication and someone from the team should call you back if that option has been selected.

I just don't understand why the Java version of Minecraft is not included in the Windows 10 purchase. I feel like I've been tricked. I wouldn't know that there was any difference between the two.
