I've done as you instructed and still no change, same error

Might it be i'm missing a file that is associated with this? or the file is corrupted?

Prior to this i uninstalled unused apps while in Windows 8.1, but the error was there even when i had Windows 8.1, then i upgraded hoping it would be fixed but seems the error is still there

Hi,

Thank you for responding.

As the above troubleshooting steps couldn't resolve the issue, let me assist you further.

Step 1: I suggest you to run a SFC scan and check if it helps.

System File Checkeris a utility in Windows that allows users to scan for corruptions in Windows system files and restore corrupted files.
Follow the below steps:

  1. Right click on the Start button, click on Command Prompt (Admin).
  2. Type “sfc /scannow” without the quotes and hit Enter.
  3. After the scan, restart the computer and check for the issue.

Note: If you are not able to repair some files after performing SFC scan, I suggest you to refer to the point 3 “Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them. Details are included in the CBS.Log %WinDir%\Logs\CBS\CBS.log”. Under the section “Run the System File Checker tool (SFC.exe)” to repair the corrupted files after performing SFC scan.

Refer: Use the System File Checker tool to repair missing or corrupted system files

Hi,

I realize the inconvenience you are facing. Now that you have me with you let me take care of this.

I would like to inform that there can be many events which might have resulted in the system files errors. An incomplete installation, an incomplete uninstall, improper deletion of applications or hardware. It can also be caused if your computer is recovered from a virus or adware/spyware attack or by an improper shutdown of the computer. All the above actives may result in the deletion or corruption of the entries in the windows system files. This corrupted system file will lead to the missing and wrongly linked information and files needed for the proper working of the application.

I suggest you to perform a repair of the operating system and check if it helps.

Refer to the Andre Da Costa article below to do so:

How to: perform a repair upgrade using the Windows 10 ISO file

Hope it helps. Get back to us with an updated status of accessing the operating system for further assistance.

Thank you.
