Windows10 activation key error / 0x80041023

Hello!

With the latest windows update, I lost my internet connection (actually, the update itself failed no matter what I did). I desperately needed my internet connection working because I needed to send a work for college. So I reset the computer from Windows 10 menu (latest build)

Everything's working fine, but while I was changing a couple of settings, I find out that my Windows was not activated. I click on the "activate" button but nothing happens, and when I tell myself "okay, no biggie, let's type the key manually" I notice my Dell DOES NOT have a sticker on it's back with the product key! I do have an original Windows8 sticker (updated to W10 two months ago) but nothing about the product key, not on the laptop nor the box. And since it was a gift from a relative that visited the US I can't go to the store to ask about it.

I tried getting my product key with several third-party programs, but when I enter the key that I get, Windows jumps me with error 0xc0000022

Any help? I'm actually panicking since I don't have any proof that my Windows is legit aside from that shiny W8 sticker on the back...

EDIT: So I found out how to check my key product without using any third party software and there it is, apparently:

So I tried to put the key again, and now I have THIS error!

Try this:

Press Windows key + X

Click Command Prompt (admin)

Enter the following command:

wmic path SoftwareLicensingService get OA3xOriginalProductKey

Hit Enter

Copy the product key then enter it

Click Start > Settings > Update & security > Activation > Change the product key then enter the new product key then click Next to Activate

Thanks! After hitting enter I got this?

Sorry if I'm being a dummy...

Also, is it possible that I have a "generic key product"? I'm worried that Windows won't take it as genuine!

UPDATE:

So, after being unable to do anything myself, I got in contact with Answer Desk, and it also seemed impossible to do anything. If anything, it looked like there was some change on my windows files and since I had never actually put a product key on my windows (it was like that when I got the laptop), there was nothing more it could be done.

I ended up purchasing a key product and, guess what? It didn't work either. So, fearing I got scammed (couldn't buy from windows directly because I don't own a credit card) I decided to reset the pc again, just in case. When I got there, it said it didn't found the file for resetting (paraphrasing, but that was the gist of it) so that was like "oh, there's definitely something messed up with my computer". I downloaded the W10 installer and lo and behold, when I finish installing it, everything was perfect and functional. And I threw away the money on that other product key.

So, if you have this same problem and nothing seems to work? Check on the reset menu, and if you don't seem able to just click and reset your computer, I'm afraid you'll have to reinstall your copy of Windows 10 (I didn't keep any files, just in case)

In my case, I activate the new installation W10 ... error 0x80041023,

In case bad key entered ... the key does not work.

Solve the problem when the numbers in key enter NO from the numeric keypad block, but from upper line keyboard (czech diakritic character with Shift).
