Hi,

Great to hear that you have upgraded to Windows 10. Check out this getting started article for Windows 10, which has some great tips and answers to frequently asked questions:

Feel free to get back to us if you have any further queries; we'd be happy to help.

Thanks Bennett

thats a good start, but I am looking for a bit more about advanced settings, such as:

a) the task bar colour is such that I can't readily see the icons for some apps that I have pinned. I have tried all colours to no avail

b) in setting up email I get messages that require me to enter info and then okay ( or some such). However the button is hidden by the task bar and I can't select it or move or resize the message box. My screen resolution is set to the recommended.

Have reverted to Windows 7 as I do not have the time to research how to use  Windows 10. Like most business people, upgrades to Microsoft software cause major business disruption.

I find it odd that the link to the getting started article is intended for Great Britain. Is there a similar article for the English-US? I have a number of people who look to me for expertise and advice on using computers, and I've been telling them that Microsoft has surely done a good job in tutorials, or getting started, or user guide, or some such online documentation, but then I'm amazed that I cannot find anything. If I search Microsoft for user guide for Windows  10, I'm directed to the Microsoft store where they are pushing apps and games. Where is the support documentation?

I have upgraded (?) from Windows 78.1 to Windows 10. I have no idea to use this  . Is there a guide somewhere?

I find the entire windows 10 to be unusable. There should be a users manual. I had 7 and then Vista and now 8.1, but 10 is useless I cannot find my email, use the internet or office.

it sucks

I have been using Windows 10, so getting started is not enough. The pop-up share windows for FB are not compatible with my rectangular screen and I need to make them smaller.

YES . . . THERE IS NO USER MANUAL, SO YOU CAN NOT LOOK UP PROBLEM & FIXES, ie., HOW TO USE MY COMPUTER KEYBORD INSTEAD OF SCREEN KEYBOARD?   I LIKED LOCATION & SIZE OF W-7's GADGET CLOCK & CALANDER, I'VE FOUND NOTHING ON ADDING THESE TO W-10's SCREEN!  AND I DON'T TO WAIST THREE YEARS TO BECOME PROFICIENT IN USING W-10!

I agree.  I find Windows 10 unusable.  It sucks!  Why does it have to be so complicated.  Is there a FREE manual to read.  I do not have the time to spend on this.   This is a brand new computer and they told me all new computers come with WINDOWS 10.    I don't recommend windows 10 to anyone.

I was really surprised that the "Get Help" link that is visible all over Windows 10 settings does not lead to a page that describes the settings available on that particular page.

E.g. Settings -> Windows Update -> Restart options -> Get Help

Will only go to the virtual agent answers regarding Windows 10 settings in general.

Asking about Restart options does not help very much.

An online manual with links from Windows Settings would be very helpful
