Windows 10 upgrade stuck at 1%

If it does not help, you may download the upgrade files, create an installation media and then upgrade to Windows 10.

My download has been going for just over an hour, and has been stuck at 1% for the majority of that time.

Is this a common problem? My internet is good quality and I highly doubt it is the problem.

As you said, I would suggest you to check whether this task is running in task manager. If you find, select the task and click on end task.

Press Shft + Cntrl + Esc to open task manager.

If doesn't help, I suggest you to force shutdown your PC to kill the upgrade process.
