What happens if I install Windows 10 Pro on a device already installed with Licensed Windows 10 Home?

Hi.

I was recently surfing your website when I found a link for downloading Windows 10 and thought of reinstalling it, as I am experiencing some bugs in my current version :

So, I downloaded the Media Creation Tool. While running the setup, it asked me whether I want to reinstall Windows 10 or save it for later.

I have currently Windows 10 Home installed on my PC, which was upgraded from Windows 7 Home Basic SP-1.

Therefore, I was wondering what would happen if I install the media on a pen-drive, and use that to install Windows 10 Pro from.

Would that affect my current version of Windows? If yes, how?

Thank you for being part of Windows 10 family.

I would like to inform you that if you are try to upgrade from Windows 7 Home Basic SP-1 to Windows 10 Pro, then Windows 10 will not be activated. It will go into reduced functionality mode as the Windows 10 is not activated at that point of time.
