opeing pdf

Respected personnel,

       1.     I met with problem in opening a pdf document on my windows 10. When I open, it is in the form of Microsoft Edge. Is it needed to download a pdf reader by searching with Store?

2. When I record something in powerpoint using screen recorder, voice is muted. But I can hear song, videos etc. Is it needed to change any settings?

Thanks a lot

Jinu

Hi Jinu. I'm Greg, an installation specialist, 10 years awarded Windows MVP, and Volunteer Moderator, here to help you.

Like Chrome and Firefox, Edge has a fully functional PDF reader which is set by default in Windows 10.

If you don't want it you can change to the PDF reader of your choice, like Adobe Reader here:
https://get.adobe.com/reader/

Set the default Reader in Windows Settings > Apps > Default Apps > Choose Default by App, or Choose Default by File Type > PDF.

More about setting default apps here: https://www.howtogeek.com/223144/how-to-set-you...

I hope this helps. Feel free to ask back any questions and keep me posted. If you'll wait to rate whether my post resolved your problem, I will keep working with you until it's resolved.
