Microsoft will no longer support your version of Windows 10, and this PC won't receive critical security updates


Hi

I got this blue pop up Notification aftet restart. I didn't proceeded with the update. Is this anyway similar to this threat :

Moved from:  Windows / Windows 10 / Install, upgrade, & activate

Ignore it. Windows doesn't alert that way.

Immediately close it with Task Manager and then go to https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/wdsi/products/scanner

Download the Scanner and run a full scan.

This should remove any malware that might have been left behind.

Then immediately update your antivirus and get back to us.

It's a legitimate notice.  You shouldn't be fear-mongering if you don't know for sure.
