Error 0x80200013 - 0x90017 : Upgrade to Windows 10

Hi,

My OS is Windows 8.1 Single Language and I am getting error while upgrading to Windows 10 Home edition.

Not even happening through Media Creation Tool

** I already blocked Antivirus;

** Did all the processes through msconfig;

** Enabled BITS service;

BUT

Its showing like the below image:

Error 0x80200013: BITS can request ranges of updates. However, if the network proxy or firewall device does not support range requests, BITS cannot download updates.

Follow these methods and check if it helps:

Method 1:

Temporarily disable third party anti-virus software and install the update.

If you have any third party software installed on the computer, then I would suggest you to temporarily disable the anti-virus software.

Important: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you shouldn't disable your antivirus software. If you have to temporarily disable it to install other software, you should re-enable it as soon as you're done. If you're connected to the Internet or a network while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

Method 2:

If you are using any Proxy connection, then try disabling the proxy connection and check.

Follow the steps to disable proxy:

  1. Click the Settings icon at the top right corner in internet explorer.

  2. Click the Tools button, and then click Internet Options.

  3. Click the Connections tab, and then click LAN settings.

  4. Uncheck the box next to "proxy server for your LAN".

  5. Click on OK to save the setting and close window.
