Is Windows 10 rollback capable?

Windows 10 looks great. My question is if I install the Windows 10 update and some of my important apps break/won't run...can I roll back to Windows 7 Pro (my current os) or will I have to do a full reinstall?  I'd like to jump on board right away, but not if I have to take several hours to backup, restore and/or reinstall my previous OS. It would be great if you have a little utility that could check application compatibility!
