Get Windows 10 app window not displaying correctly.

So the Get Windows 10 app came in yesterday without a problem, but does not display correctly when I open it. All I see is a white background with links on the left side that do nothing when I click on them. So I can't even check to see if my pc is ready for Windows 10 yet. Being new to this forum I'm not sure how to post any screenshots, but any help on this is much appreciated. Thanks.

This was my solution:

To get these problems solved you need to make a change to the Windows registry.  If you aren’t familiar with regedit you need to be very careful.  Make a backup copy before you do anything in here.

  1. Launch regedit (click on start and type regedit and then press enter)
  2. locate this key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\.css
  3. The Content Type will be “application/x-css”
  4. Change this to “text/css”
  5. Close regedit
