Continuum - lock screen - spotify

Hi,

I am using Continuum with my Lumia 950 xl and often just run Spotify to listen to the music via my TV. however there does not seem to be a way to prevent phone lock screen kicking in and effectively switching off continuum. Am I missing something?

Hi,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community and being a part of Windows Mobile Insider Preview.

I understand your concern about accessing the Continuum feature on your device when its gets lock. We will help you with this issue.

I would like to inform that if you’re using a wireless adapter, you'll need to reconnect to your TV or monitor after you unlock your phone.

If you’re using a wired dock, just unlock your phone, and the connection should resume.

For more information refer to the Microsoft article: Continuum for phones: FAQ

Section: My TV or monitor disconnects when my phone locks.

Hope it helps. Get back to us for further assistance on this issue. We will be happy to help you.

Hi,

thanks for reply. I am aware of that - the unfortunate side effect of the disconnect is however that I lose the playback.

I would suggest to allow for the option of screen lock to be disabled when in continuum session - kind of as if you have your laptop on and no sleep/hibernate policy.
