Windows 10: We couldn't complete updates undoing changes

There is an update available in my windows which is:

Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1511 for x64-based Systems (KB3172985).

When it update & restart, it says, "We couldn't complete updates undoing changes".

Every day it comes at the time of starting my laptop which waste unnecessary time! To fix this, I have tried several methods so far:

(1) Run & troubleshooter to "Fix problems with Windows Update"

But, this didn't my fix the issue.

(2) System file check (SFC) Scan and Repair System Files

But, sfc /scannow cannot fix corrupted files.

(3) I have found a thread which tells to remove dummy entries from  

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList

I went to the path but don't understand which should be removed!

What can I do more?

Use the Following tutorial to  Reset Windows updates completely and check if it helps:

Reset Windows updates

Make sure to run the script as an administrator.

If that doesn't help,we have some other fixes to try with

Wait for the Anniversary update to release on August 2-As it would be an Inplace upgrade, it would correct this issue.

Check your System Reserve Partition and make sure you have free space.

I was having this issue and could not figure out why the update would not install.  I kept getting the message that the update could not be installed and it was undoing the changes.  It was by chance after using the Media Creation tool to attempt to do an in-place upgrade (hoping this was going to get around the update issue) that I received the message that the upgrade could not be done because the System Reserved Partition could not be updated.

Sure enough, I had installed Kaspersky and it had taken up the remaining free space on the SRP.   I was able to assign a drive letter to this partition and delete the Kaspersky directory.  I also read that you can delete the MS language packs that you do not need to free up a little extra space.  If this does not free up enough space then you would need to use some type of partition tool to increase the size of SRP.

There is free space at System Reserve.

Maybe the dummy files are from it's creator
