windows 10 update ,1803 version

i'm getting 0xc1900101 error during the update

1.  Device type. ie Desktop, Laptop, Tablet, Surface, Phone

2.  Who made it and model, HDD size. If home built what type motherboard, Intel, AMD, Drive size

3.  OS type, Home, Pro, Enterprise, etc

4.  Current build.  Go Settings, System. About. OS build XXXXXX.XXXX

5.  What build are you trying to get?

6.  Where and when is this happening on the computer,  Boot, Screen, App, Update phases?

I run into same problem:

Error message: "Last failed install attempt on ‎5/‎4/‎2018 - 0xc1900101"

> Laptop
> Dell - 1 TB - AMD-64
> Windows 10 Home
> Current build: 1709 - 16299.371
> Update to: 1803
> Not sure (the update process completed but above error message is found)

Hello.

I've the following information:

1) Desktop

2) Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-970A-D3P

    CPU: AMD

    Graphic card: AMD Radeon RX 460

    Ram: 12 gb kingston hyper-x

    HDD: SSHD Seagate 2 tb firecuda 3,5

3) OS: Enterprise

   

4) Build: Fall update

   

5) Build trying to get: Spring update

   

6) Error: On 75% ~ 100% de error occurs. And it's register on the event viewer of the system without more information than error 0xc1900101

Observations: Last failed today. I've already checked if there's some error with chdsk, uninstalled my antivirus bitdefender, and sanitize the windows image.

same problem here, I can't update from 1709 to 1083

hiii

try installing windows 10

through windows media creation tool

it works better and i have done the same.

if u have any doubts regarding it .

When Windows reverts back to 1709 there should be a Small blue window with more accurate error code. Mine was  0xC1900101-0x4001E. Error happened at 86%.I found a solution for it and wrote a blog about it. There are instructions how you can check the hidden setuperror.log to figure out the real reason for error. Hope that helps.
