Sangeeta, thanks for the reply. I tried that and it opens the System Restore Window, and it says "System Restore is Turned Off". And I CAN NOT turn it ON. Even went into the Registry

:HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows NT\SystemRestore

And the last "SystemRestore" entry was missing from my Registry. Can I add it?

Sincerely,

Raf.

Hello,

We appreciate your time and effort for getting back to us and I apologize for the delay in responding.

Are you able to see the System Restore tab or are you are able to access the System Restore by clicking on the System Restore tab?

I suggest you to follow the steps to turn on System Restore:

1. Press Windows + Pause Break key from your keyboard.

2. Select the option System Configuration from the left side of the page.

3. Now click on the Configure tab.

4. Check the Turn on System Protection box, Click Apply and ok.

Now restart your PC and perform the same steps to perform system restore and check if issue gets resolved.

Also let us know if you able to view the System Restore tab as shown in the screen shot:
