updates still waiting to install from Windows 10

In order to assist you further with the issue could you please confirm a couple of things: 

1. What do you mean by the statement updates are waiting to occur?
2. Aren't you able to see the downloads/updates?
3. Isn't the updates getting installed on your computer?

Nevertheless, I suggest you to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter and check if these helps. Follow the steps below to do the same:

1. Press ‘Windows’ key on the keyboard.
2. In the search box, type ‘Troubleshooting’, and press enter.
3. Click on ‘System and Security' and select ‘Windows Update' then click on next to run the troubleshooter.

I ran the troubleshooter and this fixed the problem...There was a corrupted file..

I did look for the troubleshooter earlier but the message said troubleshooter not supporting windows 10 yet.

But after a couple of days the troubleshooter was updated and then this fixed the problem.

windows update still waiting to install

definition updates were installed without any problem but after installation other updates started downloading and reached 30% and stil they are on 30% .

but in details menu.

all the updates are showing me that "waiting for install" .

any help would be appreciated

The same here.

I ran the Troubleshooting method and it fixed one error but after that the windows update is still pending for 13 updates showing "Downloading update 2%" for long period of time.

Hence: Downloading update was stuck at 59% before running the troubleshooting. 

The Troubleshooting didn't help me either, ran it several times last night.

However, today, after running with Administrator privileges (as I did last night), I got the following message:

"Windows Update components must be repaired          Fixed" (with a green check mark)

Will see what happens when I restart Windows.

Success, restart worked:

. Restart took longer than normal (good)

. Windows Update installed pending updates (took a little while to start and finish)

. It checked for additional updates

. The download of additional updates worked (took quick minute to start, then a while to finish)

. New updates were installing but stalled at 77%

. Reran Troubleshooting w/Administrator privileges, same "components...Fixed" message

However, the installs finished before I restarted again (took a long while).  So, success.

I think you have to wait until the download is complete (?).
